The Writing Club showcase and open mic last night was so awesome :D I love this project and my friends. Sometimes the club feels more like work than fun, and its important to remember that ATWDRSE (all things worth doing require sustained effort). Things that last build consitantly over time. We are coming up on 2 years of club! I often think of when I met up with my professor a year after graduating and told him I was thinking of grad school in the pursuit of someting greater. He said something like, you don't really need to do that... The weekly queer pool you go to is 'something greater.' Life is made up of projects and days. Grateful to have a job and lifestyle which lends itself to these things

Was awesome to see Ashley even if just for a day. When she comes to Philly its like a special guest episode, audience cheering as she walks in. I love that Margot is waiting for me at home. I smell her fur like people with kids smell their babies.

I am determined to be happy! Last night I was eating leftover bahni mi on the counter with Kayla and Ashley in the kitchen thinking, this is correct. I can be sad about the loss and change in the past year and still know that this is how things should be and that I am soooo lucky
